Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, advertising goals, platform interests and the contents of a message when you contact us or request an advertising campaign. Authorized content-management users may also provide account and business contact information.

When you use MFDLive, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, timestamps and streaming activity.

How we use information

We use information to operate, secure and improve MFDLive; deliver live and on-demand programming; respond to requests; maintain schedules and scores; measure site and advertising performance; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for audience, programming and business analysis.

Cookies and similar technologies

MFDLive and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies. These technologies help keep authorized preview sessions active, remember preferences, understand site usage, measure advertising and support embedded video playback.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site access, video playback or other features.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and MFDLive's first-party audience analytics to understand how visitors use the service, and Google Ad Manager to deliver and measure advertising. Our first-party reports may record an anonymous visitor and session identifier, pages viewed, interactions, player-page visits, engagement time, sponsor impressions, app-store selections, device and browser information, screen size, referring page and approximate city, region and country. Raw IP addresses are not retained in MFDLive audience reports.

Google and participating advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about visits and interactions and to provide, personalize or measure ads, subject to their own policies. Streaming and third-party services

Video playback and media information may be provided by Lightcast or other streaming partners. When you open a player, those providers may receive technical and usage information needed to deliver, secure and measure the stream.

MFDLive also links to third-party services and app stores. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this policy does not apply once you leave MFDLive.

Sponsor interactions

When you select a sponsor message, we may record the sponsor, placement, page, time and approximate city, region and country. MFDLive does not store a raw IP address in its sponsor-click reports.

How we share information

We may share information with vendors that provide hosting, analytics, advertising, security, streaming, email and other operational services; with sponsors or business partners in aggregated or campaign-reporting form; when required by law; to protect rights, safety and security; or as part of a merger, sale or other business transaction.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties except as described in this policy or with your direction or consent.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including operational, security, legal and recordkeeping needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children’s privacy

MFDLive is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.

Your choices and rights

You may opt out of promotional email by following the instructions in the message, adjust cookies through your browser and use the advertising controls linked above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information.

To make a privacy request, use our secure contact form and select “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as MFDLive, our providers or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date shows when the latest version took effect. Material changes may also be highlighted on the service.
